LOW VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION

Firmstone Electrical offer a wide range of distribution units off the shelf manufactured from sheet steel.  They are all good quality hard wearing and cost effective.  Free standing or wall mounted units with or without circuit breakers to British Standard IP44.  We can also offer purpose built units to customers specifications in sheet steel, GRP or moulded enclosures. All the sheet steel units are polyester epoxy paint finished and all can be supplied as is, or with input cable and plug.

To feed the multi-socket outlet or any other unit when independent power is required away from mains supply. For a temporary or permanent solution extension leads with or without reels are a necessity. Supplied by ourselves in all voltages and amperages in various cables:- Braided, Rubber, SWA or more common off the shelf Arctic Grade.  The following are suggested average lengths.

Other lengths can be made to order. Industrial cable reels are also available and can hold up to 50 metres of cable in 240V / 110V, 16A or 13A. All versions come complete with twin sockets on the side of the reel as shown in the respective pictures.

Printing of the Arctic grade cables is also available via our in house facility for identification and security purposes. We can print company names and telephone numbers every 1 or 2m apart at a small extra charge – details on request.

BS4343 INDUSTRIAL PLUGS & SOCKETS

Industrial plugs and sockets in BS4343 are stocked across the board from panel mounted sockets to switch interlocked sockets with MCB’s or RCD’s in splashproof or watertight versions in all voltages, amperages and pinages. As shown, special wall mounted units are made to order with various socket and protection configurations.
